New Project Management Tool

Posted by Heather Orr-Martinez at 10:19 AM Page Design

I am experimenting with a new project management tool called Base Camp that Mark suggested. It was spurred on by a request from one of our clients to be able to view (at any time) what projects they currently have active and what their status such as timeline, hours, to do lists, etc. My first thought was that this was going to take a lot of time and I might need to get Maria involved in the process. But after talking with Mark (he always seems to know a little bit about everything have you noticed?) I tried out this software. It might work really well for others of you who work on multiple projects for a single client or have a single project with multiple people involved and a complicated timeline and deliverable schedule.

Here is the info for the website to try the free version http://www.basecamphq.com/, or if you would like to come and have a tour of the site that I have set up just let me know.

That's awesome Heather. I am glad that my wasteland of useless knowledge occasionally comes in handy :) I am looking forward to using basecamp for our new website. *shush* shouldn't say that too loud people might think we are going to have a new website soon :)
